BizSync On-Demand is a hosted e-commerce platform and software client that integrates your back-office system to a powerful shopping cart system that is built and designed for multi-channel merchants who use back-office systems and need tight integration with their shopping cart system.
The shopping cart platform is based on the popular X-Cart shopping cart by Qualiteam, so you can be assured that not only is the shopping cart packed with modern features and e-commerce marketing tools, but its secure and extendable and will grow with your business.
Hosting and Support
BizSync On-Demand is hosted and managed by Freeportway on Freeportway servers. You'll receive 24/7 emergency support and be able to access our technical support through our on-line help desk and via phone.
This means that you will have the confidence of knowing that your business is backed by a veteran of multi-channel e-commerce solutions and you have a partner you can count on.
Our servers are co-located in Tier-1 providers and you can expect uptimes to be better than the industry average of 6 nines (99.9999%).
We back this product with a support and service package that is the best in the industry.
Technical phone support for questions or issues related to BizSync On-Demand is also available from 9AM - 7PM EST Monday thru Friday.
Installation and Setup
BizSync On-Demand is completely installed and setup by Freeportway.
BizSync On-Demand does not require additional software or licensing, you simply sign up on-line and your store will be setup once you're approved.
This process usually only takes several hours after your order has been approved and you will receive an comfirmation after you place your order.
Additionally, Freeportway will assist you in installing your client software, which is required for back-office compatibility, and will ensure that you can synchcronize your information from your back-office, download orders and setup your site to work with your back-office, including shipping rules.
Addtional programming, Web design or development is not included in this package.

Purchase BizSync On-Demand
BizSync On-Demand is $299 per month with a $2200.00 software and and installation and setup fee.
Our shared plans place your business on a server with no more than 8 other customers in a Tier-1 hosting environment. If you require a dedicated server or would like to purchase the On-Demand package with a dedicated server for your business, during checkout, select 'Dedicated Server' as an option. This will add an addition setup cost and monthly fee to your charges.
The On-Demand (shared) package includes:

After sign-up, your card will be processed and your store will be setup on our servers. You'll receive an e-mail confirmation which you will be required to respond to with some additional information. Once Freeportway receives the response and processes the information, access to your store will be sent to you via e-mail from our secure ordering server.

BizSync On-Demand Support
Support is easy.
If the problem is a non-emergency. You can start by entering a ticket in our help desk by sending e-mail to support at freeportway.com, or going to our help desk, registering and adding a ticket. Responses are handled in priority, and you will receive an answer between 3 and 5 hours, depending on the time of day or day of week or how busy our incoming queue is.
If you have an emergency, you will receive in your Welcome Package a number for a 24 hour emergency hotline number. This number is used to call into our office and alert our staff. You will receive a call back as soon as a staff member is available.
Calls after hours are handled by priority and call-backs will not occur until 9AM EST time regardless of the issue.

How is this solution compatible with my back-office system?
BizSync On-Demand uses a software and server modules to 'talk' to your back-office. The client interfaces with the shopping cart system and transfers the information it needs to populate your inventory, obtain your orders and any addional information to keep your back-office system and shopping cart in 'sync'.
The product is both a hosted shopping cart system and a client software solution which integrates with your back-office.
I have SiteLINK (or some other shopping cart), can BizSync On-Demand replace this system?
Yes. If you need a feature-to-feature conversion where you've paid for customizations (i.e. additional SiteLINK custom programming), or your site is highly tailored to your business and uses someone elses shopping cart. You can utililze BizSync On-Demand, but those features and functions will have to be developed on the X-Cart platform if they don't already exist.

Yes. In fact, we have a team of developers in-house who can design your site for BizSync On-Demand, or do custom programming for you.
Our rates are reasonably priced and all that we require is that you speficy in writing what you need.
If you desire, you can also hire someone who has X-Cart experience and we recommend several vendors on our "Preferred Designers and Developers" page.
What is X-Cart and why have you chosen this as a platform?
X-Cart is an award winning PHP / Smarty based shopping cart platform used by tens of thousands of e-commerce merchants.
As a commercial "off-the-shelf" product, X-Cart is supported, enhanced and developed by Qualiteam making it a platform that is evolving and always maintained for security and reliability and features. Its impressive feature set and community was a major factor in choosing this platform instead of building on our own.
X-Cart's major strength is that it has a large community of Web designers and also has a strong 3rd party module plug-in system to extend its functionality. With X-Cart, Freeportway believes it has created the best possible platform for its customers by allowing them to extend and enhance their e-commerce storefront without being locked into a proprietary solution that can cost thousands to enhance or develop.
One of the main reasons we chose X-Cart to built our platform around was simply that we realized that our customers were finding it complicated and hard to update their site with the "latest and greatest" feature set or function. In the past, to add that feature, we would have to charge a considerable amount of money to the customer and more often than not, the customer would decide against it. Are there restrictions to what I can change with BizSync On-Demand?
The BizSync On-Demand version of the product has minor restrictions in that there are some areas of the platform that cannot be changed.
But those area's are Freeportway's modules and services which integrate with your back-office, or are the modules that you get as a part of your package which are installed on the server. More than likely you wouldn't want to change those services.
With BizSync On-Demand, you can change the skins for the design of your site and even most of the X-Cart code (which is yours to devleop and change).
Do I own the X-Cart license?
You are leasing the license from Freeportway. If you choose to leave or cancel your service with Freeportway, you can purchase a license directly from X-Cart and take your X-Cart installation with you. A single license of X-Cart is $199 dollars.
What about the code I change or have developed for me, do I own that code?
Yes. you own everything in your Web space, in fact, the X-Cart code in your Web space is yours to develop or do what you want.
Any modules, PHP code or Web design in your space is yours and yours only. You can even take the X-Cart code with you that you have changed or enhanced.
How many domains can I have under the BizSync products?
The BizSync On-Demand is a "per domain" license. If you have multiple domains you'd like to host with shopping carts, then you need to purchase a license for each. If you simply want to redirect a domain, that is possible but your shopping cart is hosted on a single domain and your customers will checkout throught the main domains shopping cart.

Can I host this on my own server, why do I need to host with Freeportway?
At the current time, we have not released our services or modules to be sold separately. We are planning on providing these services in a "Standalone" edition sometime in the near future because we realize that people do want to host and control their sites. At the moment, we only offer our services in the On-Demand version of the product.
